The apartment was designed by Anna Noguera and it represents the integration of old with new as well as the essential elements such as space, lighting, shadows, fire, stones, water and silence.
It might seem a bit raw and cold but if you have a look at the medieval town of Girona and the building it's in, it really fits. What I like about it is how peaceful it seems, there's no distracting elements around, it looks like a great place to read books or just think :)
I like the interesting combination of wood, stones and metal. Plus that spectacular terrace from which you can admire the whole town as the apartment is located right in the centre of it. It's simple, minimalist and very well designed - what more could you as for? :)
